Introduction Task Process Evaluation Conclusion

Higher standards!  Higher standards!  That's all we teachers hear nowadays.  How can we help our young men and women achieve these high standards?  One thing we can do is to help provide them with the right tools.  Without a doubt, one of the most important tools available these days is the computer, in particular the internet.  Since the internet opens the world to all who use it, every student should have the opportunity to use it in an interactive and interdisciplinary setting.

The use of technology has been increasing at an enormously fast pace while the budgets of most school districts have not.  Therefore, teachers and administrators must write grants that will enable their schools and our young men and women to keep up-to-date with the new technological advances being made every day.  To encourage and support our young men and women all over the United States to be competitive with students from other countries, they need to be computer and internet literate.

The purpose of this WebQuest is to make the process of writing grants painless instead of time-consuming and tedious.  The result of it, we hope, will be that you become so "hooked on grantwriting" that you begin the process all over again, and again, and again.
