Quiz -Scale Reference Sheet

Take a four pieces of blank manuscript paper. (You'll need eight pieces (10 - 12 staves) if it is only lined on one side). Staple them together at the top.

On the top of Page 1 write, "Major Scales - Sharps"
On the top of Page 3 write, "Major Scales - Flats

Using a sharp pencil, create grand staffs, then write major scales (treble and bass clefs). Start with one sharp in the key signature, then progress through to seven sharps. This will require two pages (sides). On page 3, start with one flat in the key signature, then progress through to seven flats. Label the scales correctly according to the method described in Lesson 9. Keep these sheets for a handy reference.

If you need another way the proceed to Lesson 9b.
