Introduction

Very few photographers put their photos in a box and slide it under the bed. Most of us want to share them with others. Until recently, only a lucky few were able to show images to a circle much bigger than friends and family. However, for good or bad, we can now share them with the world. There are a number of ways to do so. You can "broadcast" them to a large audience by placing them on the web where anyone can see them, or you can "narrow cast" them to specific individuals. Each of these methods has its own attractions and they really don't overlap a lot. It's possible you may use one or all of them at different times, depending on what you're trying to accomplish. Lets take a look at each of them in more detail.
