Working with 2 or More Characters
When workign with two or more characters, there is additional information needed to be added to their profiles.
1. What is the relationship of your characters. Did they just meet or do they have a history? Are they strangers, fores, lovers, related, cousins, siblings, parent/child, friends, acquaintances, or enemies? How do they feel towards each other? How does this affect the story?
2. What is the status of each character? Status is defined by power. Who is in charge, who is not? Does this status remain stable or does it change. How do they negotiate power between each other?
3. What do they want from each other? Does this define the characters and affect the plot?
4. Who is the story about? Don't keep changing views. Often the main character is the one who arcs the most.
